Since we introduced
our EarthLED lamps to the world in 2007, Advanced Lumonics has
listened to passionate requests from customers asking for LED
technology that works with dimmer switches and dimming home automation systems. For nearly a
year and a half we have been hard at work to create LED lights that
are not only powerful but reliable and totally compatible with the
unique demands of dimmer systems.
The result is
LumiSelect™, the first LED complete line of LED lighting that can be
used with standard dimmer switches. LumiSelect represents a true
breakthrough in energy saving lighting technology that allows the
placement of LEDs in applications that were never before possible.
LumiSelect is offered in a full range of lamp types, from MR-16 to
PAR38 with more applications coming soon.
How Did We Do It?
If you've ever tried
to use LEDs or even most CFL's with dimmer switches before you'll know
they only function at the fully on or 100% power position. Since these
lamps lack any sort of advanced circuitry to allow them to operate
with dimmers, many have been forced to keep expensive to run, incandescents
in these fixtures.
Thanks to an
advanced power control circuit design, LumiSelect™ lamps are
different; they function with switch dimmers just as normal incandescents
do by allowing full linear dimming control. LumiSelect
products contain the latest LED engine technology ensuring amazing
lighting output as well as efficient operation.
Simply Greener than
CFLs.
Like all our
products, LumiSelect bulbs are simply in another league when it comes
to safety and environmental friendliness. While governments around the
world along with consumers wake up to the dangers of CFLs, LEDs now
offer a true alternative. It's not just marketing either, just one CFL
improperly disposed can cause lasting damage to the environment
affecting drinking water and food sources we all use.
Mercury is only half
of the problem with CFLs. If you've ever used one, you know their
light is less than ideal. Flickering, drab color, long start up times
in cold weather, these are just some of the many reasons consumers are
quickly finding CFLs are not a long term solution.

dimmable LED base spotlight solution for track or down lighting.
The LumiSelect MR-16 is a great alternative to halogen lamps
and emits no harmful UV radiation. Consuming only 3 watts at
100% power, the LumiSelect MR-16 is an economical and versatile

LumiSelect MR-16 PRO offers a no compromise solution where a

units that still have UV filter retention clips. Best of all,
